Qinzhou is located at the centre of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone of Guangxi in

South China and is a booming coastal industrial city,renowned as the hometownof national heroes and famous for white dolphins and Nixing Pottery and honoredas "the charm city"of the seventh China-ASEAN Expo.Qinzhou covers a totalland area of 10,800 square kilometers and a total coastline of 562.6 kilometerswith two counties Lingshan County and Pubei County)and four districts(Qinnan Disctrict,Qinbei District,Qinzhou Port Economic Development Zone and

Sanniang Bay Tourism Zone)under its jurisdiction.Its total population was over4,000,000by2015.

With green mountains,blue sea and agreeable climate,Qinzhou boasts aunique scenery and culture.It abounds in various resources and is well-known forlitchees,milky buffalo,bananas and oysters.In particular,Nixing Pottery of Qinzhou,made of the local clay and handicraft,is famous as one of the top four potteries in

China.Firing,a typical skill of Nixing Pottery,is the only one in the Chinese ceramicindustry.

Qinzhou has also been honored as one of the outstanding tourist cities in Chinasince 2008 as for its national 4A scenic attractions:Sanniang Bay,Liu Yongfu's

钦州港

(一)基本概况

钦州位于广西北部湾经济区的中心位置，是岭南古城、英雄故里、坭兴陶都海豚之乡、新兴港口工业城市，第七届中国一东盟博览会中国“魅力之城”。现辖两县四区，陆地面积1.08万平方公里，海岸线长562.6公里，人口400万。

钦州山青海蓝，风情独特，气候宜人，钦州物华天宝、人杰地灵、风光旖旎是“中国荔枝之乡”、“中国奶水牛之乡”、“中国香蕉之乡”和“中国大蚝之乡”。钦州坭兴陶是中国四大名陶之一，其“窑变”艺术在国内外陶瓷行业中绝无仅有，堪称“中国一绝”。

2008年荣获中国优秀旅游城市称号，有国家级4A级旅游景区三娘湾、八寨沟、

刘永福故居以及冯子材故居。碧海蓝天的三娘湾海域是野生中华白海豚的繁衍生息之地，中国最大的半封闭内海一茅尾海入选全国首批国家级海洋公园。2012年，钦州开始建设总面积为110平方公里的滨海新城，加快打造具有岭南风格、滨海风光、东南亚风情的宜商宜居城市。

Qinzhou to Nanning Airport or Beihai Airport.

钦州交通便利，拥有海陆空立体交通网络，是中国通向东盟国家距离最近的出海通道之一。海上运输可直达港澳、东南亚、欧美等国家和地区。有3条高铁、7条铁路、5条高速公路在钦州交汇，是北部湾沿海交通枢纽，钦州至南宁机场和北海机场均为1小时左右车程。

钦州拥有面向东盟和国际开放的、中国中西部沿海地区唯一的保税港区一广西钦州保税港区，全国第五个海港汽车整车进口口岸，中国和马来西亚在中国合作的第一个工业园一中马钦州产业园区，钦州台湾农民创业园、钦州港经济开发区等国家级发展平台。2008年，钦州被列为全国加工贸易梯度转移重点承接地。2010年，经国务院批准，钦州港经济开发区升级为国家级经济技术开发区，国务院还批准钦州港口岸扩大对外开放。钦州已成为连接中国西南、华南与东盟经贸合作的战略枢纽和中国一东盟经贸合作的新平台。

In 2014,the throughput capacity of Qinzhou Port has reached 100 million tons,while the amount container transport has broken through 700,000 standard cases.

Qinzhou port has became the main container port of Beibu Gulf.As a 30,000 tonwaterway and a 30,000 ton wharf have been built and used this year.It can be seenthat Qinzhou is speeding up port construction,striving to reach port throughputcapacity of 200 million tons in 2020.The construction of Qinzhou network baseof Port City,the navigation,port construction,port-vicinity industry,internationaltrade,cultural tourism,exchanges and cooperation for Qinzhou making sister citieswith 47 port cities of ASEAN countries are actively promoted to build the gatewayport and hub city of "Marine Silk Road"to the Association of South-east Asian

Nations (ASEAN).

Qinzhou is vigorously implementing the five major development strategies of"building a big port,rising new industry,constructing a new town,strengtheningscience and education and improving livelihood".It is also implementing the"risingengineering of billions of RMB worth industry",and striving to promote the newgoal of"five years of leaping forward,10 years of upheaval".At present,Qinzhouformed the sea-front industrial cluster of petrochemical,energy,paper making,electronics,metallurgy,grain and oil food,modern logistics.From January to

September of 2015,the city's total GDP reached 60.303 billion yuan,9%of year-on-year growth.The large-scale industrial production reached 97.248 billion yuan,

5.1%of year-on-year growth.The investment in fixed assets was 54.27 billionyuan,20.6%of year-on-year growth.Fiscal revenue was 13.68 billion yuan,anincrease of 36.7%.The growth rate was the highest in Guangxi District.The total
